Western North Carolina Nature Center is located in Asheville acting as a key attraction not only to the locals but also to visitors and tourists. They take pride in owning more than forty acres of the Southern Appalachian habitat. It's diversity makes it a fun place for families while at the same time looking to stand out as an education center. 

This center is diverse as it acts as a conversation center for both animals and plants.  In this, it is all rounded so you can always find something you are interested in.  Considering that many of the plants and animals are indegenous to the area, it is cooling and relaxing. It is due to this serenity that this center offers a calm and soothing environment for those looking to relax and explore. Membership
While the center is open to everyone,  you can gain membership as an individual or as a group/institution. With a membership, you get to enjoy savings as well as other benefits.  In comparison to a membership and a regular visitor, you stand to gain more benefits as a member. For example, during the Member Appreciation Month, which runs in the month of February, it provides free giveaways to registered members.

Wildlife Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation of wildlife in this center is a key objective.  This helps to not only increase the number of wildlife within the area but it also helps to add to the different species of animals. The center aims at ensuring that the animals feel closer to their natural habitat.

Educational Programs
It is one thing when you see all the amazing wildlife and plantation but it another thing understanding them in depth. In an effort to educate its visitors, they provide for educational programs. They provide professionals who are knowledgeable in the different fields be it wildlife or plants. Everything you need to know about the animal or plant of your choice is at your disposal. WNC provides for family programs allowing families to create memories that will last. In this, you can hold birthday parties and other family related events in the center grounds. Family and friends can arrange for summer camps. Nothing is as soothing and relaxing as taking on activities in a clean and green environment.
