Brad Stark

Brad Stark, a native of Asheville, has dedicated his career to fighting for individuals in personal injury and eminent domain cases across North Carolina. Since leaving The Van Winkle Law Firm in 2008 and joining Fisher Stark, Brad has secured multiple seven-figure verdicts and settlements, consistently delivering results that make a real difference in his clients’ lives.

Brad played baseball at UNC-Asheville before finishing his undergraduate education at UNC-Wilmington.  Brad then graduated magna cum laude from The Florida State University College of Law in 2005 and was inducted into The Order of the Coif, a prestigious honor society recognizing top academic achievements in law. While in law school, he also served on the Law Review, honing skills that continue to benefit his clients in both State and Federal Courts.

With deep experience in complex litigation, Brad has built a reputation for success in eminent domain and personal injury cases. His professional service includes his current role as Vice Chair of the Eminent Domain Section for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) and a previous position as President of the 28th Judicial District Bar, a 700 plus member organization representing the legal community in Buncombe County.

In recognition of his commitment to excellence and ethical practice, Brad has earned the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating—something just 10% of attorneys in the U.S. achieve, and the highest possible peer rating for professional ability and integrity. His achievements have also led to listings in Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, distinctions based on rigorous peer evaluations that identify top attorneys nationwide.

Brad remains committed to representing those injured by the negligence of others and landowners in condemnation matters.  In short, Brad represents people, not insurance companies, corporations, or governmental entities.

Outside of his legal career, Brad is an avid fisherman, enjoys golf and values time with his wife, Rachel, and their dogs.
